- Over the past 27 days, 150,000 ETH, or $390 million, have entered different protocols for ether liquid staking derivatives. Significantly, starting July 14, 100,000 ETH has been added to Lido, the largest liquid staking platform in the world based on market share.
Ethereum Staking Volume Increases to 13.59 Million Ether as Lido Approaches the 10-Million Ether Milestone
Approximately 290,000 ETH were sent toward decentralized liquid staking derivatives systems between May 28 and July 14. After that, an additional 150,000 ETH reached these platforms in the last 27 days alone. At first, 13.44 million ETH was locked; as of right now, there are 13.59 million ETH in circulation, valued at $35.46 billion USD.
With the recent inflow of 150,000 ETH, 66.66% of the fresh additions were taken up by Lido. With 9.81 million ETH held at the moment, Lido has a commanding 72.23% of the market. In the meantime, Rocket Pool secured 8.68% of the market share by adding 10,000 ETH to its holdings.
The Staked ETH platform on Binance is now managing 912,902 ETH, whereas Mantle has about 488,734 ETH in its holdings.
Mantle has 3.6% of the 13.59 million ETH total, while Binance’s platform has 6.72% of the market. With 195,531 ETH, or 1.44%, Coinbase’s liquid staking platform comes in fifth place.
Over 28% of ETH’s circulating supply is being staked, with over 11.3% of that amount coming only from ether liquid staking derivatives protocols, according to combined liquid staking and validator staking data.
