Creator of Mango Markets works with CKS Systems on the Solana-based, limitless order book Manifest

  • Manifest, a fee-free on-chain order book based on Solana, is released by KS Systems.
  • The founders of Manifest are from CKS Systems, Dual Finance, and Mango Markets.
  • Manifest maximizes liquidity by enabling simultaneous bids and offers.
  • Solana’s Virtual Machine’s key-value data efficiency is improved via HyperTree.

An on-chain orderbook based on Solana, called Manifest, was introduced by blockchain native market maker CKS Systems.

John Kramer, Britt Cyr, and Maximilian Schneider have been the main contributors to Manifest. They are, respectively, the CEO of CKS Systems, the CTO of Dual Finance, a web-based platform for three-way trades, and the creator of DEX Mango Markets. The three work together to increase liquidity on Solana and related platforms like Manifest.

Manifest allows liquidity providers to place an infinite number of orders across markets by implementing Global Orders, which permits numerous simultaneous bids and offers using the same funds.

Additionally, by enabling users to launch new token markets with ease, the platform avoids trading costs and promotes order book growth.

Manifest also proposes a data structure called HyperTree, which, according to its whitepaper, provides “orders of magnitude more efficient key-value data storage on the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM). Without sacrificing functionality, a tiered design enables formal verification of the basic matching engine.”

“Manifest finishes what Uniswap started — a high-performance, capital efficient crypto exchange is finally fee-less and fully on-chain,” Kramer said in a statement.

As of right now, Manifest is in development on the devnet and is not yet live on the Solana mainnet. The platform’s goal is to combine services with other protocols, such trading on Mango Markets and swaps on the Solana DEX aggregator Jupiter.
