- To help a wider audience, including those who are unfamiliar with the Azuki universe, become familiar with the Azuki narrative, the anime-styled brand and NFT initiative Azuki has started releasing a series of brief animated movies for social media.
In order to foster a more engaged community, the project will integrate User Generated Content (UGC) into Azuki’s storyline and invite holders to take part.
The lives and tales of the Beanz, Elemental, and Azuki characters will be examined in these videos.
The First Video: Today’s Catch
Azuki started to webcast a short 3DCG anime on Tuesday called Catch of the Day, which was helmed by Genshō Yasuda.
Mizuki, Elemental #9195, is introduced in the first short film in the series, Catch of the Day, which highlights her interactions with a Beanz character. Mizuki’s awkward yet well-intentioned behavior produces a comical result.
By presenting Mizuki’s character and the environment she lives in, this episode establishes the tone for the whole series. This series consists of five episodes, and a follow-up short animation is currently being worked on.
The Animated Series’ Backstory
With a reputation for his film Make a Girl, Genshō Yasuda is in charge of the production team for these shorts.
Yasuda started his professional career as a computer-generated artist at Nitroplus. In 2021, he established Yasuda Gensho Studio by Xenotoon.
Along with Mio Ogyū and Ishida Shusaku for storyboards, Ken Kasahara for character designs and 3D models, and a group of Takahiro Kawaguchi, Daisuke Nakagawa, Shusaku, and Ogyū for 3D animation make up the team as well. Yonawo Suwano is the sound producer, Koichi Kawase is the producer, and Kaname Uchida and Hirotaka Teshima handle the backgrounds.
