Valour introduces the NEAR Protocol’s first ETP

  • DeFi Technologies’ subsidiary Valour has introduced the first-ever exchange-traded product (ETP) for Near Protocol globally.

This launch coincides with a rise in interest in digital asset classes, especially after the US saw the introduction of spot Bitcoin ETFs in January.

Near Protocol NEAR -3.97% NEAR Protocol, which is presently among the top 20 cryptocurrencies with a market value of $6.6 billion, is anticipated to receive a great deal of attention from the new ETP.

Valour presents the NEAR ETP

Retail and institutional investors will be able to purchase the new ETP, Valour Near (NEAR), according to a statement made by the provider of digital assets investment products on Wednesday.

The Near Protocol environment will be introduced to holders, and the ETP will enable them to take part in the digital finance future of the Web3 platform.

Elaine Buehler, head of product at Valour, stated, “We’re giving investors an incredible chance to dive into the revolutionary NEAR Protocol, known for its transformative impact on DeFi and NFTs, by launching the world’s first Valour NEAR ETP.”

The Valour Near (NEAR) ETP is available through websites such as internet broker Nordnet and Stockholm-based online bank Avanza. It trades on the Spotlight Stock Market in Sweden.

Along with Valour Solana, Valour Cardano, and Valour Polkadot, Valour is expanding its portfolio of cryptocurrency exchange-traded products (ETPs) with the debut of NEAR. Products for Enjin, Uniswap, XRP, and Avalanche are also offered by the company.

A variety of staking products are also available to investors, such as Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), and Internet Computer (ICP).

Valour wants to introduce more cryptocurrency-related investment products for both retail and institutional clients. To date, the company has introduced eleven ETPs for digital assets. Currently, the product suite of the ETP issuer is traded on broker platforms, banks, and principal European exchanges.
