Users can now verify their eligibility for NFT claims and airdrops using MetaMask

  • Users are able to verify airdrop eligibility and potential NFT claims by integrating MetaMask with Daylight.
  • This feature works with several different blockchains.

Users of the Web3 wallet MetaMask can now confirm their eligibility for airdrops by integrating with the onchain project Daylight.

“We’ve collaborated with Daylight to assist users in determining whether they are eligible for any airdrops within the ecosystem,” the wallet created by Consensys Software Inc. stated in a post on X.

“Has your preferred decentralized application lost a token? Is it possible that you overlooked some that are still in effect? In a blog entry, it added, “To discover out, check “Eligible Airdrops.”

Eligibility for airdrops and NFT claims is specifically listed on the MetaMask Portfolio’s Explore page.

There, Daylight API makes individual NFT recommendations for each user based on “a variety of social factors,” such whether or not they own a linked token, a necessary token, or are on an allowlist.

Among other things, it takes into account whether a user has minted another token from the same creator or whether an NFT was coined by someone they follow on Farcaster.

Supported across Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, Base, Zora, and Polygon is airdrop and NFT-claim eligibility.
