The completion of the zkSync V24 Mainnet Upgrade has improved platform performance

The goal of the zkSync platform, which is well-known for its Ethereum scaling solutions, is to give consumers a smooth and effective transaction experience.

It is anticipated that the ZkSync V24 mainnet upgrade would greatly improve platform performance and user experience. As the consequences of the change become more apparent, more updates will be given.

By the end of June, zkSync intended to hand over network governance to the community. Before this changeover, the last significant update is the ZkSync V24 mainnet upgrade.

When zkSync first launched in March 2024, it promised to start releasing tokens in a year. Due to the platform’s airdrop incentive, a large number of cryptocurrency investors have invested, causing its Total Value Locked (TVL) to reach a peak of about $200 million.

Through several funding rounds, Matter Labs, the firm that created zkSync, has effectively raised up to $458 million. A significant turning point in zkSync’s roadmap is the planned token airdrop event, which is slated to occur by the end of June.

Matter Labs Abandons “ZK” Trademark in Ahead of Significant Developments

The layer-2 token will have a 21 billion coin supply, based on early leaks. Due to trademark concerns, the code name for the token is still up for debate.

Despite zkSync’s intention to utilize the “ZK” code to emphasize its innovative role in zk-Rollups technology, the Polyhedra Network utilized this code beforehand. Recently, Matter Labs gave up trying to register the “ZK” trademark after receiving feedback from scholars.

LayerZero and layer-2 Blast are getting ready for their own airdrop events in tandem with zkSync’s advancements, garnering a lot of interest from the cryptocurrency community.

June will be a busy month for fans of airdrops as zkSync’s airdrop coincides with LayerZero’s assessment of sybil wallets and Blast’s airdrop.
