According to Arkham’s data, Bhutan hasn’t transferred bitcoin to a cryptocurrency exchange since depositing 381 BTC, or $24.1 million at the time, to Kraken on July 1. Although these payments to cryptocurrency exchanges are frequently made in order to sell the assets, the motive behind the most recent transfer is unknown.
The blockchain analytics platform Lookonchain first reported the action and pointed out that Bhutan still possesses about 12,456 Bitcoin, which is presently worth about $886 million. On October 18, Bhutan also transferred 228.8 ETH ($600,000) to a Binance hot wallet address; its only other significant cryptocurrency holding at the moment is $1.7 million in ether.

Price of bitcoin is currently $71,513, up 6% in the last week and within 4% of its previous all-time high of around $74,000 achieved in March.
