Pepe rises 98.8% in just one month, setting a new record

  • The well-known meme coin with a frog theme, Pepe (PEPE), has increased by more than 10% as it has maintained its bullish trend.
  • Pepe’s price has risen dramatically over the last few days, hitting multiple new all-time highs (ATHs).

Pepe’s price increased by over 10% in the last day to $0.00001577, setting a new all-time high and extending its three-month winning run.

Even with the spectacular surge, sellers’ profit-taking drove Pepe’s price back to $0.00001501, which was still 6.64% over its 24-hour high.

According to CoinGecko data, Pepe has increased by 55.8% in the last week and by 98.8% in the last month, regaining its position as Dogwifhat’s (WIF) third-largest meme coin by market capitalization.

Surprisingly, Pepe’s 24-hour trading volume reversed course and fell by 36.90% to $1.469 billion compared to the previous day. This coincided with the company’s price increase.

Pepe was still among the most traded cryptocurrency assets in the last 24 hours, only surpassed by BNB Coin (BNB), Bitcoin (BTC), and Ethereum (ETH), according to data from Binance, despite the decline.

Pepe continues to be the most traded meme coin, surpassing popular coins such as Dogecoin (DOGE), Floki (FLOKI), and Shiba Inu (SHIB).

However, only SHIB, WIF, and Bonk (BONK) of the other prominent meme players registered any green in the previous day.

  • SHIB saw a slight gain of 1.08%.
  • Bonk’s performance was significantly worse—0.30%.
  • Significantly better was WIF, which gained 3.30% to trade at $2.95 at the time of writing.

After seven days, the improvements seem considerably healthier

  • During that time, BONK and WIFB gained 46.78% and 16.39%, respectively, while DOGE increased by 8.71%.
  • Over the course of seven days, Floki saw a 12.67% increase in value; but, in the past day, it lost 0.36% of that total.

Samoyed (SAMO), Cheems (CHEEMS), and catwifhat (CWIF) are among the lower-capped coins that have performed the best overall in the meme currency market over the past 24 hours.

Samoyed’s price increased by 44.71% at the end of the day, according to CoinMarketCap data, while CHEEMS gained 33.85% and CWIF increased by 30.09% to trade at $0.000001321.
