- Next week, Nyan Heroes, a shooter akin to Overwatch, will debut its NYAN token via Bybit; information about the airdrop will be available soon.
- Nyan Heroes, a shooter with a cat theme, has announced that it will introduce its NYAN token on the Solana blockchain the next week.
The mech shooter, which draws inspiration from Overwatch and Titanfall, has been in pre-alpha since March and has reportedly had over 200,000 downloads, placing it in the top 30 games on the Epic Games Store.
The actual Nyan Heroes coin, or NYAN, will be live on the controlled exchange Bybit on Tuesday, May 21. Along with this launch, the release also suggests that information about the eagerly anticipated NYAN airdrop will soon be available.
Players that took part in the play-to-airdrop campaigns for the game will receive an airdrop of NYAN tokens. By participating in the game or on social media, players can accrue MEOW and CATNIP points.
When the token launches, these points will be worth a certain amount of NYAN. Given that NYAN will be released the following week, it would seem that information about how to claim this airdrop would also soon be available.
$3 million in funding was provided to the Singapore-based game studio 9 Lives Interactive to help the game’s debut. Due to this, the pre-alpha debut on the Epic Games Store was a huge success, drawing in over 100,000 players in just the first seventy-two hours.
Since the developers are concentrating on gameplay first, the game does not currently have NFT integration. As a result, you don’t even need to have a wallet to play the game in its entirety. This will not change, not even with the debut of the token.
Max Fu, the CEO and creative director of 9 Lives Interactive, revealed that “Web2” things may be bought with in-game premium currency. Additionally, there will be unique objects with the label “awakened” that can be sold and tokenized, but participating in the game’s cryptocurrency aspect is entirely optional.
