Movement Labs and Up Network collaborate to introduce the Web3 smartphone

  • With the release of the Up Mobile, a smartphone only focused on Web3, Up Network has revealed a strategic alliance with Movement Labs.

The goal of this partnership is to transform the Web3 user experience for consumers by improving privacy, scalability, and usability.

Zero-knowledge proofs and biometric sensors will be used by the Up Mobile to confirm blockchain identity. With support for MoveVM and EVM, the Web3-specific operating system offers a wide range of decentralized applications (DePIN, DeFi, GameFi, and SocialFi). Through Proof of Attention activities, users can receive incentives with the help of integrated local large language models.

Distribution of smartphones

By the end of this year, 100,000 copies of the smartphone are expected to be distributed, with over 10,000 preorders already placed. With 50 onboarded partners—including well-known Web3 IPs—the collaboration offers user rewards for participation.

Rushi Manche, co-founder of Movement Labs, stated, “Having used the Up Mobile device myself, I can say with confidence that it not only outperforms everything in the Web3 space but also rivals, if not exceeds, the quality of well-known mainstream brands.”

As attention nodes, the Movement network from Movement Lab offers mobile devices a number of advantages, and it aims to effectively enroll the next billion users. The network’s high throughput (30,000+ transactions per second) and regional fee markets, which allow for cost-effective operations and lessen network congestion, are the reasons for these advantages.
