BeraChain and ApeChain are now the eighth and ninth supported blockchains, respectively, on Magic Eden, an NFT platform based in Solana.

By making this change, Magic Eden is getting closer to its target of having ten supported blockchains by the end of the year. After the network goes live on the testnet, Magic Eden plans to target the Layer 1 network Monad, which is compatible with EVM.

The three primary tokens in the ecosystem of the Layer 1 blockchain BeraChain are BEX, BGT, and HONEY. It sets itself apart from other networks by using a proof of liquidity consensus technique to confirm the liquidity of specific assets onchain. In April of this year, the Layer 1 blockchain’s creator, BeraChain, raised $100 million in Series B funding.

The NFT brand Yuga Labs gave birth to ApeChain, an infrastructure layer designed to support the ApeCoin (APE) ecosystem.
