While MoonPay continues to invest heavily in the physical wallet company, Ledger and MoonPay are launching a number of services aimed at digital assets for their clientele.
In a statement released on Monday, the firms announced that Ledger Live will enable token exchanges for the payment servicer and provide instantaneous processing of cryptocurrency purchases made through Moonpay. As part of the partnership, Ledger Academy will provide its customers with additional learning tools, including courses on self-paced cryptocurrency trading and content that highlights MoonPay’s offerings.
Ledger CEO Pascal Gauthier stated in a statement on Monday that “we are constantly working to bring better ease of use and access to crypto for Ledger users, while maintaining our industry-leading hardware security.”
To honor the companies’ partnership, a Ledger x MoonPay Nano X hard wallet is also making its way into online retailers. Along with the limited-edition purple hard wallet is a $25 MoonPay cryptocurrency ticket. According to the firms, it will also soon come with a one-year membership to Ledger Recover, an ID-based key recovery service for owners of hard wallets.
This is Ledger and MoonPay’s most recent partnership. The businesses collaborated to introduce a Moonpay-enabled cryptocurrency buy option in Ledger Live in 2021.
