According to a business website, Coinbase, a major cryptocurrency exchange, plans to include the memecoin Moo Deng (MOODENG).
Coinbase recently added the third memecoin to its listing pipeline, after plans to offer Dogwifhat (WIF) and Pepe (PEPE) in November.
MOODENG, a cryptocurrency based in Solana, is based on a pygmy hippopotamus of the same name that lives at Thailand’s Khao Kheow Open Zoo. She became well-known online in September of this year due to her charming nature, diminutive size, and adorable characteristics. Following the token’s September 11 launch, MOODENG even generated a volume surge on the memecoin launchpad Pump.fun.
As of 3:38 p.m. ET on December 2, MOODENG was trading at about $0.59, up 68% over the previous day, according to cryptocurrency market tracker CoinGecko. The market value of the token is more than $579 million.
Over the past day, MOODENG has performed better than other memecoins.
