BODEN Rises More Than 10%, TREMP Gains 5% Following Kraken’s Listing of the Solana PoliFi Duo

  • As the first exchange accessible to US citizens shows the tokens with an election theme, BODEN seems to be the winner.
  • Kraken, the first U.S. exchange to list the PoliFi-themed tokens, said that BODEN and TREMP, two PoliFi tokens, are now accessible on its Kraken Pro platform.
  • With TREMP down 5% and BODEN up 10%, BODEN looked to be the winner.

The first significant exchange that is accessible to residents of the United States to list PoliFi tokens is Kraken, which announced today that it has listed the PoliFi tokens BODEN and TREMP on its Kraken Pro platform.

For those who are unaware, PoliFi tokens are political meme currencies that may be used to show support for a particular politician.

While MAGA, BODEN, and TREMP was the first widely used PoliFi token, two more tokens on Solana featuring political caricatures based on Doland—a satirical take on Donald Duck with an attitude problem—are gaining traction rapidly.

Additionally, BODEN seems to be the winner as US citizens may now trade two main PoliFi tokens on a large retail exchange; previously, they were exclusively available on offshore centralized exchanges or decentralized exchanges.

The Joe Biden-themed token had an increase of more than 13% just after the listing announcement, according to CoinGecko statistics, before leveling down. It’s ahead 10% over the past 24 hours compared to 5% for TREMP.

CoinGecko, which has not yet included trading volume from Kraken, reports that BODEN now has a trading volume of about $10 million compared to TREMP’s $12 million.

In the cryptocurrency market, these tokens have a rather low trading volume. For example, Dogwifhat’s volume over the same period was in the $400 million level.

Trump leads Biden by more than four percentage points on Predictit, a website accessible to US citizens. This difference is more than the poll aggregates compiled by 270 to Win, which places Trump up by less than a percentage point.

The largest lead is still held by Trump on Polymarket, which is closed to citizens of the United States and has a 56% to 38% margin.
